Private Datacenters

As we pool our resources, we have to make a number of choices, just like any other provider. We tend to fault toward power, scalability, and security; whereas many providers will leverage there resources more aggressively to offer less expensive services. There is no 'perfect' mix of resources which fits every client. Another service which makes worldcloud relatively unique in the industry is that we can assemble physical servers into a private datacenter with the appropriate mix of hardware, memory, and processor power for your specific needs. Each of these datacenters can connect to our fiber channel SAN storage and offer the ultimate in control.

With a private datacenter, you can control both private and public network access. When you create a 'virtual server', no one else will have any 'admin' rights so you control all access. In this scenario we provide you with an infrastructure and the expertise to shape that infrastructure into the services you require. Some users will choose a private datacenter for security, others for control.

Utilizing a Private datacenter, you can build and/or destroy servers at will- without the assistance from anyone. This is ideal for testing environments or for other pre-deployment situations. Since resources can be added at any time, you simple lease the 'resource pool' you need, and then expand as your needs change. As long as you stay within your resource pool, you have total control to move and/or adjust resources.
